Nah, although, what you're paying in interest each month is a waste. Unless you're on a 0% balance jobby at the mo, there are prolly cheaper ways to manage that debt.

No debt at all - not even a student loan! :D

Never paid interest on a credit card in my life. 8)

Yes you should be ashamed.

(actually I think it's fine - most people I know are in that much debt if not more...may as well take advantage of the capitalist system anyway because the c__ts will only spend it on bombs otherwise!) ;)

the longer u pay min payments, the chances are yr interest rate will creep up.

they dont show u the apr's on yr statement... just the monthly % rate. i was shoocked when i cleared mine off that i was getting whooped for over 23% as opposed to the "standard rate" or about 19%.

bastards.

I had 4 grand on a credit card that had grown over the years plus the fact only about £20 of what I was paying was coming off my balance - the interest was outrageous (Barclaycard)

I then had the shame of my parents going through my bills and finding how much I owed and going completely overboard about it.

I work in Insolvency/bankruptcy so they were really worried I would lose my job if I got even further into debt but I did say to them as long as you pay them they cant get you for it - after all I have worked in insolvency for 3 years now I do know a bit about going bankrupt.

Anyways I have now been forced to get a loan to pay it all off for 3 years and all credit cards cut up.

Absolutely nothing i'm pleased to say. If I don't have the money in my bank/pocket I don't buy it. I know so many people who max their cards out and then struggle to reduce their balances.

It's a slippery slope................

Its a very slippery slope, so easy to do as well. You should see the stories I see, some mpeople have every store card and credit going

About £1000 on 2 credit cards - going to transfer the balance of one to the other so I can have 0%

About 9 grand in student loans, started paying that off in april

£1,600 overdraft racked up when I was a student, but I only pay interest on the last £600 of that as I'm still in the interest free period...

Overall it seems quite a lot 8O :?

but I'm on top of it - wish I hadn't racked up the credit card ones, it is SO easy to spend but takes bloody ages to pay it off. Pain in the arse.

 I'm the same - never had any debt, I think I would cry if I couldn't pay off my credit card bill in full every month  I think it's just how I've been brought up, to only buy what you can afford :?

you and your feckin morals!

I had to get student loans. It was either that or pay for my supernoodles and fags Barry's way.

Was rather relaxed about credit card debt after I graduated and ended up getting a loan to pay it all off, which I'm still paying. Plus I've still got a student overdraft sitting unpaid somewhere.
