As said in a previous thread, staying in PDB at Jet for the first time this year and just want to know you experiences really..

What's it like in the day and night? Previously stayed at Ibiza Rocks 5 times running.. getting a bit boring now.

Thoughts?

The pool nearer to Bora Bora is full of tw@ts who stand around posing and tensing their muscles wearing fake gucci sun glasses. The other smaller sqaure pool is a lot better in my experience as you can actually talk to people and get table service beer :)

Jet is right next to Bora Bora and theres a another beach bar which will be playing music opening right next to that. It depends which building and where you are positioned as to how loud it will be but in anycase its not a quiet place to relax with the sound of the sea.

Regardless what people say of pdb the town , the beach is really good and way better than san an. Walk up towards Ushuaia end for more peace n quiet or if you wana party its on your doorstep

Thanks guys,

Yeah ive been to Bora Bora bar a fair few time in the day, just happened to be rammed every time. Wasn't sure if that was a coincidence or not.

Only downside I hear is that the PDB area tends to die down around 2am (bars).. whereas a lot of my group like to flood to the west end after a club around 5am.

The pool is full of idiots in speedos but there is a quiter pool as someone said.
There is a pool party everyday and its very loud and full of brazilians showing off etc, but we just sat back and had a laugh, I enjoyed the place as there was a big group of us (12) so it suited us, but other years when iv been away with only 4-5ppl then we enjoyed the ebano.
If you want something a bit quiter and relaxed during the day i would really recomend the ebano which is just up the street, it has a nice private pool and was relaxed with no loud people around the pool, and their food is nice.

as for the 5am thing, Yes the bars will be quite but space and sankeys are there, and its also closer to dc10, amnesia, and pacha as compared to san antonio, and iv never left a club earlier than 5am in ibiza! :P

I'd totally agree. I think the Ebano is spot on. Stayed in both the Ebano and Jet and would only head back to the Ebano again. Central to everything but nice and quiet if you want to lounge around the pool or get your head down.

Hooray! Im staying at the Ebano for the first time in August and I cant be doing with a load of tossers (excuse my language), prancing around  Roll on August, I can hardly wait!

where abouts is Ebano? I was looking at that earlier for closing parties or maybe next year and its pretty cheap :) I loved the Jet apartmrnts its really central and loads of fun but I think its very expensive for self catering when there are all inclusive hotels not far away for cheaper

Ebano atps are.say if you was outside jet main desk.turn right round left hand bend.carry on straight on .pass the right turn for main strip.a little further up its on the right.

love the jet pool parties. music comes from tiare beach bar which is a small hut beside the pool. one of the residents this year is oliver lang ex bora bora. never had any issues with the crowd obviously there is posers but everyone is friendly, smiling and having a good time

ebano is a good hotel and for half the price of jet certainly represents value for money. i like the 2 pm alarm though at jet when the music starts :p

we enjoyed the ebano.

I stayed in Ebano a few years ago with my fiancee. The pool is indeed very relaxed. If you want burgers / pizza etc by the pool the staff are amazing. We went to the restaurant to order paela one night and where the only people in there but the food was divine, the staff amazing and it was a lovely evening. I'd definitely recommend the hotel to anyone, any age, any type of group again.
