Daytime in San Antonio - Your Thoughts

Which do you prefer. San Antonio at day, or San Antonio at night? I don't know why the media paints a negative picture on San Antonio all the time. It might be wild and insane at night, but during the day it is beautiful and a very peaceful town. It is good to see families enjoying the 'daytime pleasures' the town has to offer. I wish the media would see the positive side to San Antonio.

What are your thoughts on the town? Would you recommend it?

I agree - san an area is beautiful daytime. lots of beautiful beaches nearby and generally a relaxed vibe.

normally absolutely NO fan of boats at all because getting bored very very fast when being trapped on a boat -
BUT love the bazillons of sanan's taxiboats bringing you almost
everywhere

Itaca during the day is great for people watching, having a few beers and listening to good music.

I second the itaca thing. Awesome music, drinks are cheapish and always loads going on. My favourite bar on the island!

I think it is quiet in the daytime because everyone stays up late partying in the evening.

Love San Antonio in general, very good place to chill in the day prefer the day/evening to the carnage of night/early hours. Doesn't stop me from sampling it though.

Love San An - first stayed there on a lads holiday in 2000 (was 18) in club paraiso which is now Ibiza Rocks. Was perfect for what we wanted then. Have been to Ibiza nearly every year since; now go with the Mrs and we always stay in San An (in the gran sol). Great seafront bars and some amazing restaurants (e.g. rincon de pepe, es ventall, villa manchega, Es Rebost de Can Prats etc). Plus 2 great clubs on your doorstep. I enjoy taking a dander around night or day. Even if the west end isn't to everyones taste it has a good energy about it and it is good to have the choice. Roll on Sept - can't wait to get back.

Daytime/evening for sure. Great for the beach, restaurants, cocktail lounges and sunset bars. The night time isn't really for me. Would rather be in PDB where people seem to be able to handle a drink and there's a bit less carnage

As woodruffe said, lots of two for one on beers, cider, spirits etc. They even do small cocktails in the evening for 5€

We spent a day there last year from 10.30 to about 18.00. There was eight of us drinking beer, shots etc (although some of the girls were drinking water) and it came to under 150 euros. Couldn't believe how cheap it was.
