Day out in PDB from Es Cana - ferry or bus?

I usually stay in PDB, but I'm in Es Cana this year, and fancy a day or two in PDB during the daytime - say 10am to 5pm, or somewhere within those hours. I will be travelling alone. What's the best way to travel?

1. Ferry - is there a ferry from Es Cana to PDB (presumably change at Ibiza Town)? Or is there a ferry just to Ibiza Town? I know they go the other way (PDB>Es Cana morning, Es Cana>PDB late afternoon), but is that just on Wednesdays for the Hippy Market?

2. Bus to Ibiza Town, then bus to PDB. How long does the EC to IT bit take?

3. Bus to Ibiza Town, then walk to PDB - must be 40 mins walk I guess, but a pleasant walk...

Ideally I'd like to get there by 10 / 11, lay on the beach, grab some lunch, beach again, and come back about say 4pm...

Any tips or suggestions?

Cheers :)

1. Just Wednesday.
2. Bus 18 to Santa Eulalia,then 13 to Ibiza, then 14 to PdB. 10, 25, 20ish minutes.
3. Get to the sea front at Figueretas and follow the coast.

why get to the sea front at Figueretas.if you are getting the bus 14.you might as well walk it.20 mins max.or just stay on the bus till you get to pdb.

Yep DS beat me to it - will probably just walk that bit, as I will end up walking up and down PDB beach a couple of times anyway, might as well make them part of the journey. Just interested in buses in case I'm running short of time for any reason.

i see.yes walk it is nice.get to Figueretas where there is a right bend in the road.you can see the sea.tourist booth.turn right walk along prom.till end, turn right then sharp left passed es vive hotel.along that road passed torre del mar on the left.through alley way.along passed tres carebellas hotel.you should by now see the jetty where boats pull in.pdb beach your there.

Yes I have done that walk years ago but couldn't remember what was before the beach, now it's coming back to me, I remember Es Vive and then passing through the front grounds of that other hotel. Ta.
