I've been producing for about 5 years now, cubase sx being my weapon of choice at the moment.

Yep all 3 of those are my tracks. As you've noticed, I tend to change my style alot! :D I like to experiment with all sorts of diff genres and then merge ideas from each. I'll upload those tracks tomorrow.

I remember speaking to you about cubase last year...

I've started to get interested in production again! I have sx1 on my pc, but about 4 vsts that all sound like childrens keyboards :lol:

Where can I get some decent vsts for free? Would there be any way of you sending some to me via the internet? Soulseek / msn?

And I don't have a clue what i'm doing, I've used it for audio recording / production but not midi/vst. I need some wise starter points ;) ;)

I used to use it for getting live concerts when I was an Oasis guru! haha

Not used it in a while, I could install it again though! Would it be easy enough to set up transfers over it?

Is it as easy as transferring between usernames or do you have to do it through a channel?
 
hey! Got that file from you, but the same thing is happening as that other one I tried!

I extract the file, its a folder with lots of zipped folders, unzip those folders and theres compressed folders in each of those, try to decompress them, and it asks for a disc.. :?

thats the program I always use to extract folders. But with these specific folders winrar gives me a message saying it needs something( a disc or something) before it will extract it.

it extracts the main folder fine, then I can unzip the seperate folders fine, but it wont let me extract the content of those folders!

Maybe there's a crack or something I need to install?
 
maybe u need a newer version of winrar. If you extracted all the files from the single file then there's nothing wrong with the download.

It should extract to a load of zips then u extract those to a load of rar files. Then in the case of the arp2600 u right click on 'dlm-arp2600v.rar' and 'extract here'. That should give u a bin and cue. U then need to load as a virtual cd drive in something like alcohol or daemon tools :D

yeah thats what I meant when I said it extracted and gave me lots of other folders.... But when I try to extract the folders that are within the folders it asks for a cd... thats probably where the virtual cd drive thing comes in!

Don't know anything about those other programs, but ill try to download one over the weekend to see if it helps at all!
