Great mix cd.

One of those dj's i'd heard about but never really given the time of day before I downloaded a mix of his a few months ago and suddenly realised he was playing half of the records I seemed to own / was trying to get hold of.

Then saw him at DC10 last Monday and am a proper convert. (aprt from that awful shirt and hat he was wearing !!!)

His new mix CD is immense. This whole bleepy, techy, funky (call it what you will), shit is the sound of the summer.
 
Dan Ghenacia is another.
We had a mix cd of his out with us last week and it was never off the stereo.
Similar kind of stuff.
 
He's fab isn't he, played at Secretsundaze a while back, got a few dates lined-up in Ibiza this year as well which is good to see :D

I tried to get it in HMV a week or so ago but I'll try again now, cheers matey ;)
 
I've had someone ask me to get on the mic and wish their mate a happy 21st before.
Had to have him forcibly removed from the dj box by a bouncer !

Ow we are telling this kind of stories? When i was a LJ i had a guy coming over asking me to spin a record. I Said do I look like a DJ. He says yes. I ask do you see any turntables around here. He says yeah over there and points to the place where the dj is standing. I said well ask him. But he refused and said I was a lame ass Dj because I didn't wanna spin his record. Some peeps are 8O
 
Been meaning to get this, bleepy techy house is the shit.

There's a new Poker Flat CD out too (Volume 4) which should be good.
