I was going to suggest this the other day, but got side tracked then forgot, but now it seems it might be a good time to suggest it...;)

I used to be on another forum, if anyone cares, it was a modified car one, coz i was clearly very cool 8):lol: anyway....theres was made sticky, but i dont know how the admin gang work this joint ;)8)

We had a daily thread called, funnily enough 'Daily Waffle' the forum adminstrators were hot on people going waaaaay off topic in a thread, hence being able to babble about random crap in the daily waffle thing :D

It is a good thing because theres nothing worse than reading an interesting thread and it going complete off topic and it seems by other members im not the only one who thinks this :eek:

Good idea or should i leave the forum now ?! :lol:

Its all about warm chocolate sauce and banannas...no lie, its actually nearly as good as sex 8)

p.s - well done JV for proving that this thread can be about anything, i.e: aload of random sh*te :D
 
I had pancakes this morning (Won't be doing that again, Kingsmill ready to toast pancakes are vile!) with Maple syrup. Mmmm... maple syrup
 
It was good to be informed on pancake day, via facebook, that i wasnt the only one who actually didnt like pancakes, they are vile things....the texture makes me wana throw up, let alone the taste...

I think mummy deliberately made them taste horrid so she didnt have to make them every year :eek:

Yes i was deprived as a child :lol:

Ahh... with the bottomless cup of (barely drinkable) coffee.

Many a late Friday night (or more accurately, Saturday morning) was spent in Denny's where I grew up. Not much else to do in the middle of the night in the suburbs.

sod it, i jst wana do a massive road trip over the whole place 8)

But a trip to New York is big on my list then when i have bubbies, id wana take them all to FLORIDA :D So the big kid in me can still enjoy it :D

I want to do the road trip too.
Rent out an RV, and just got nuts!
 
i've enjoyed america when i've been. wasn't too keen on atlantic city, though. mainly because the casinos are so over-powering and fake. we only had two nights there but on the first night i remember seeing an old woman (80+) playing slots. bear in mind it's not quite like sticking a few quid in deal or no deal down the red lion. this is serious business. i later (8am the following morning) saw her being wheeled out of the casino wrapped in tin foil like she'd just done a marathon. makes you step back a bit.

got robbed in ny too.

actually, maybe i don't like america as much as i think.
 
I like Waffles and pancake with strawberries. With the price of fuel/rental for a RV, plus driving and parking a beast. I would rent a car and stay in hotels or motels. It takes about 5 days to go from one coast to the other. The hotel and car route is cheaper by a long shot. America is not is safe as other Europe, there are dodgy people and places to avoid. I live 40 minutes from Atlantic city and don't like it. Las Vegas is the place to go. I made the coast to coast drive it was great. There was some horrible radio stations(pre-I pod) I had to listen to and cornfields that I went pass for 12 hours.:eek:
 
I always associate horror films with driving accross America although I too would love to do it but Thelma and Louise style, just no shooting or driving off a cliff involved.
 
Before anyone starts I know there was a similar one to this before but I really don't know what word to use in a search..

The pictures and mini videos that people put in their posts - there are some which make me laugh out loud.. in particular one which had (I think) Thunderbird puppets laughing.. I want to see it as I need something to brighten my day of Tuesday suffering
