Is the new album as cr*p as the reviews suggest?

I was wondering the same thing. Read a review somewhere (on Amazon?) that was quite negative.

I also found out this weekend that someone has absconded with my copy of Homework

they made it in 6 weeks and it shows.

Same synths, same robotic vocoded vocals. It's not a patch on their earlier work.

Don't forget that Discovery also got poor reviews when it came out and I regard it as a classic.

nah, this new album really is shit.

And I am a huge Thomas Bangalter fan.

im gonna give it a listen online, but judging by what i've heard, i doubt i'll be buying it. liked robot rock for about 5 listens, now it kinda grates me...

i think its a pretty good album.

got it and havent read any reviews of it, and thinks its great.

especially the first three tracks. better than Homework, not better than Discovery though.
