hi,

just wanted to express my heartfelt sympathy to all of our australian visitors. as if the flooding wasn't enough, now the cyclone. the pictures are tragic and i'm sure they don't convey the half of it.

my dad lives in perth and send me this poem recently:

'I love a sunburned country
A land of sweeping plains
Of rugged mountain ranges
And droughts and flooding rains
I love her far horizons
I love her jewelled sea
Her beauty and her terror
The wide brown land for me"
