Cycle from playa den bossa to salinas?

How long would it take to cycle from Playa den Bossa to salinas beach?...was thinking it might be a nice idea and great way of getting a tan.
 
Go to the lookout tower at the southern end of the BdB beach, and from there, cut across to the main road by a country path/bridalway (good views of the airport 8O ) and then you are on to the main road (much quieter).
There's a nice (former petrol station) shop selling food/drinks on the right before you get to the Salinas turn-off.
 
wish i had of done the cycle to salinas when i was over in january... :(

i went everywhere else!! :lol::lol:
 
i would stick to the road.you could end up with a burst tyre,unless you take a kit with you.wish most bike hire places don;t give you anyway.
 
cycling pdb - salinas

Used to do it regularly. Prior to the new motorway it used to be easy, looking at google maps it seems a bit different now. The long straights were OK, at least 1 metre from road edge to the white line gave you plenty of space and clearance from traffic. Preferred to go to Cavellet though. Nicer beach - cheaper and better bar imo. With the wife leading, by the end of the fortnight we had the time down to about 15 mins.

guys, one question ... what can i do with my bike if i want to spend some hours at salinas beach? are there places where i can lock my bike? i'm afraid there are not :cry:
 
At es Cavallett there are some large wooden posts marking the edge of the car park, we used to chain the bikes to them.
