:cry: :cry: :cry: I understand you, our family-dog died after 16,5 years, she was so sweet and clever ........ but the destiny had bring us a new one :)

aye, poor wee Cindy. Great character too, best friend for 16 years. In her later years it was a real shame as she was blind as a bat and deaf as, a deaf thing. but she always seemed so sprightly. the last few months were very hard to watch her demise so my mum eventually took her up to the vet. i managed a quick dash home from work to say goodbye before going back to work to wait for the call. lordy, im welling up now :cry:

It was about a month before my brother moved to San Francisco so in a way, it at least gave him a chance to say goodbye to her properly, rather than going away and having to hear the news over the telephone.

Goddam, I need a cigarette now!!
