yes we had a heat wave two weeks ago (just when the 123 festie was happening) when temperatures went up to 40degrees.
now normal summer temperatures have resumed - as i said, 30-ish degrees daytime... 25 degrees right now.

In summer, Majorca...but in winter Ibiza is milder, Majorca can be very chilly. Simply because Majorca's bigger so inland it's further from the sea - so there's less of a cooling effect (and warming in winter). Only by a couple of degrees or so - barely noticable! Mind you, it's not as bad as being in the centre of Spain where 40c is the norm for July/August, waay too hot for me.so what would you say is hotter ibiza or Majorca?
40c in the centre of spain is much more pleasant than 30c in ibiza. ibiza's problem is humidity, which gets to the high 90%s in august, that's the killer. by contrast the centre of spain is very dry heat and not so draining as here.
btw i can't believe i entered a conversation about the weather. it's a banned topic when my parents are here otherwise they never shut up about it!
