credit card verification at clubs/buying elsewhere

i saw when i tried to check out earlier that you are supposed to have the credit card on hand with the name on the ticket as the same on the card. this is a problem for me because my mother will be buying the ticket with her card. I was wondering if there was still a way to get in, and also if buying a ticket someplace else (i was looking at clubtix) would be a work around to having to do this.

if you don't have a credit card yourself, then the best bet is to wait and buy them on the island from one of the official ticket outlets - these include the space and pacha shops, certain bars, etc. you don't get the queue jump entry, but you will get in.

it looks as though im going to get a credit card to avoid the hassle of this all, I am wondering what else besides my credit card, ticket, and id i will need to enter.

in other words, will i ever need to be carrying my passport to get into any clubs
 
no, as long as you have photo id (driving licence for instance) you won't need your passport :)
