hi :D

its gona be my first time @ creamfields this year, im gonna be going up to liverpool the day before on the train, do a bit of shoppin an clubbin then hit cream fields.

my question is - how far away is cream fields from the main train station?

will i have to get a bus, another train , taxi?

thanks :P

I think creamfields will be taking place near Speke this year. Not sure if there is a rail link but it is near John Lennon Airport approx 20 mins down the M62 from Liverpool.

Sorry can't be more specific.

There's always shuttle buses going to the site from the city centre. I can't give you an exact location but what we did the last year was just ask around and eventually we found some fellow ravers and they showed us where to go. The year bofore we got a black cab which is probably the best option because its not that much more if your taxi is full.

Scrub that, there is a shorter route from city centre. There should be buses but a taxi wouldn't cost that much if there were more than 1 of you.

There is usually shuttle buses that leave every 20 to 30 mins from Lime Street station in the city centre. Its cheap too only about £2. Takes about 20 mins in the bus.

Luckily I am staying at the Marriot hotel at Speke this year so I will be able to walk to the site in mintues :P

Hey been a Liverpool student I know my way bout pretty well! If you go to lime street or Central station in Liverpool an go down the escalators to the underground you can get a train down to Gartson which is the closest station to Speke airfield

A Taxi from the centre of liverpool to Creamfields is only £10 but if four of you are gettin the shuttle that is gonna be £8 and takes ages. last year we waited ages for the bus as they sometimes run a bit late and jumped a cab anyway.

The Marriott is really nice - used to be the old airport terminal building - even have a executive suite in the old control tower.
