I am in Ibiza in August and have heard mixed reviews in the past on Cream.

What has everyone thought this year??

Also, is there much of a breaks scene in Ibiza? Is there a breaks room or something at Judgement Sundays as I have seen on the calendar a few breaks DJs down to play there?
 
Completely rammed, esp in August. The crowd can be a bit dodgy but if you like your trance then you should go.
 
I went for the opening in june.

I had a really good night. I must have found a good spot (on the raised area near to the dj booth) because i had room and the crowd where i was was fine.

Pvd played a blinding set, and marco v warmed up well.

Was a bit dissapointed with pvd when we it came to the end and after shouting 'one more tune' he didn't acknowledge this and just walked off. But thats only a very minor grumble. Apart from that. A good night was had.

Amnesia may be the best venue on the island.
 
What other nights would you guys recommend at Amnesia -- I love the club but am a bit creamed out! Anyone been to Made in Italy? Don't think I'll be around for Cocoon.
 
La troya!

My best night of the whole holiday. Hearing Oliver play knights of jaguar as his closing tune at quarter to 8 on a thursday morning with sun shining through the roof was worth waiting.

closing is sept 21.

And then go to the afterparty at space.

looking for hotels now might have a look at Es vive. Looks like ill be there 23th to the 28th. No Miss RobbieG either so im trying to talk my mates into it but they are really dragging their feet.

Cream is awesome u must go at least once in your life, the smoke machine is unbelievable. not goin this year due 2 lack of funds, but iv heatd that Gabriel & Dresden r playin this year, if they are it cannot be missed
 
la troya is the best night at amnesia imo.

i go there everytime when im out there with my gf.

The music and atmostphere is great. very spanish / gay crowd, but a good vibe.

I tend not to go when im on a lads holiday, due to their lack of female pulling chances! ;)

I was there aswell- agree with what you said Robo except, to me, PvD seemed to be 'going through the motions' a bit. He didn't seem to react to the crowd at all.

Armada is quality too, Armin Van Buuren plays every week and has some great guests too, it's not as rammed as Cream and if you are into trance, I'd deffo recommend this night too.
 
Cream was alright for hard progressive trance all night in the main room or slightly lighter stuff on the terrace. I was a week early to see either pvd or Tiesto though. :( Honestly I liked Cocoon with Sven Vath more. And both shows made use of the nifty dry ice cannon or whatever it is. :)

By the way, I bought my ticket from a place in San An, some others in my group got theirs from various dealers in Ibiza Town. Myself and many others were told that for the ripoff 38 euro price it included a free drink at Amnesia. We got to the club and none of us could get the free drink. The vendors were apparently bull****ing us about that...
 
I used to think cream at amnesia was the bollox but the 3rd time i went it was so rammed and the music was a bit too hard for my tastes and i wasnt really in the mood anyway... think its put me off it a bit.

and i paid 50 bladdy euros to get in!!
