Not into trance that much anymore myself but they always managed to throw wicked parties in Amnesia!

Who's been this year?

I can't wait to get back to Amnesia!
 
I´ve been there for Cream with Ferry Corsten. The sound was aweful, the bass was bumping and it was hard to find out the melody (if there was a melody). I was disappointed.....
 
Yes kathrin, you're right!!!!! i've been there 2 weeks ago, and all you heard from ferry was bum bum bum.....:cry: :cry: :cry: No melody nothing.....we've been very dissapointed, too!!!!!!

The Armanda night on tuesday has been much better: ARMIN Rules!!!!!!

we bought our tickets for 10€ at the tanra bar in playa den bossa (mario)
 
Paul Van Dyk played the greatest set I've ever heard!! 4 hours on July 6. Be warned though... busiest night on the entire island.
 
If you're not into trance music, why go to Cream? I went my first year becuase I'd heard so much hype about it... and it was the worst night of my trip! waaay to crowded, very young and just not my thing..

if you're dying to go to Amnesia why not check out Cocoon( great party!) especially as you siad you're not a trance fan..:)
 
caught an hour of ferrys set on thursday mate and he did'nt disappoint,that tearrace was going off too,switch is the man8)
 
If you like to go to Cream, you´ll have to have an eye on the lineup. If Eddie Halliwell, Pvd or Oakey is there, everything is fine....
 
i was at cream on july 27 with ferry, giuseppe ottaviani and pvd playin in the main room.

ferry played simply one of the BEST trance sets i've ever heard - and i'm a trance lover for more than 10 years now. great melodic stuff, some vocals from time to time and still pumpin'.

giuseppe ottaviani - 50% of the now-splitted NU NRG - played an 30min live set which was great aswell. he played all his new stuff like "through your eyes", "until monday", "linking people" and finished with older NU NRG smasher "freefall".

unfortunately, pvd was only so-so. he played many, many classics (such as for an angel, beachball, beautiful things, saltwater and so on), which was cool in a way, but on the other hand i'd have expected to hear him playing more new stuff...which just didn't happen.

peoplewise - don't get me started on this. if you want to go to cream, then go for the love of trance music and not for the people you'll find at amnesia on a thursday night...

i disagree that if the musical style is not your fav or to your taste, that therefore you shouldn't go to that particular night.

some of the best nights i've had in ibiza were at nights of different genres of dance music that perhaps weren't my favs. i went to these nights not expecting much, a bit out of my comfort zone, etc, etc but ended up having a top time.

don't forget nearly all clubs in ibiza have at least 2 rooms of music and the terrace at amnesia nearly always plays house.8)

Never a true word spoken armin is the king of trance i can't get enough of him AMAZING!!!:D 8)

I was there for that set- I thought there was a lot of padding in there.
