Couldn't sleep so listened to a live NYPD (Bronx) stream .

For a Monday night ... absolute carnage. Violent robberies, domestic violence, 'narcotic' deals in car parks ... There also seemed to be an alarming nuimber of people with mental illnesses escaping into the night ... "Hispanic ... wearing red shorts & flip flops ... schizophrenic & bi-polar ... might be carrying a weapon."

Anyway, made for some interesting listening and put my Monday office blues into perspective. NYPD seem to have to deal with an alarming amount of sh*t. Can't imagine what a Friday/Saturday night would be like.

Hmm... wouldn't be my first choice of listening enjoyment, but it does sound like it'd be fascinating.
