After enjoying probably my best out of 6 trips to the white isle last year I didnt plan on going this year as we are saving to move out but as everybody is going on about holidays ive gone and booked 1 week in the sal rossa , playa den bossa sept 2nd. Ive always stayed in San An and the bay but thought id have a change this year as sick of paying taxis to space and bora bora. And dc1o not that far away. Has anybody stayed at the sal rossa before? if so can you let me know what you thought of it. Ive already read the reviews on spotlight im more interested in hearing board members comments.

thanks

nice friendly staff hotel.right on beach front.ok you get familys staying here.but all you need is a bed.good home cooked food.your only 100 yards away from bora bora.and space is just down the road.as you might know.all shops you need are within walking distant.one supermarket is across the road.sky sports on tv in eating bar area.rooms are very nice.fridge/cooker unit hotplates ect.if your lucky you might get seaveiw rooms.nice light up pool at night.only thing is you will hear the planes coming over head at some time.but you get used to it.bar staff are very good.they will even have a few drinks with you, unless they have not already started before you.

only 5 mins up the road from airport.if you have booked with t/c you will be 2nd drop off.

pdb will make a change for you.no westend bars.but plenty of bars around..even the famous cheap uno;s bar.your in a better place for getting boats to other parts of island plus formentera.other beach bars as well now.with walking distant of ibizatown or get the number 14 bus to town.then go where ever you fancy.

you can do pdb to san an in less than an hour.just make sure your at the bus stop in town for the on the hour or halfhour buses.

pdb as really changed over the years.mainly familys. but now i would say its 50/50.with clubbers and younger people staying in resort.from all over the world.

las salinas beach is not far away either.but check out new beach bars further past bora bora,

they like drinking it more than selling it some days and nights.you can really have a laugh with them.mine you they do work very long hours.so i don;t blame them.i often pop in for a chat and few beers.once i did not get to where i wanted to go to one night.ended up staying till 2am.and i was not even staying there.

Sounds decent!! Just be nice to be able to just walk 5 minutes and be at bora bora . San An has gone downhill I think. Still love it there by kanya and mambo etc but alot of pisshead teenagers in all the hotels making too much noise when ya tryin to sleep. From the reviews ive read on the sal rossa looks like its alot of familys aswell so can get some shuteye after a nights clubbing
