I paid £950 for me and my boyfriend for two weeks in September. We've been to Ibiza twice before and it never cost us that much. Whf? :?

Sorry to revive my dying post but in response to Mambobirdette, we are staying at the Jet Apartments in Playa D'en Bossa. We've never stayed there before but from what I've heard they are not worth £950!

You've been ripped off Rascal... me and Jon paid about £200 each when we stayed in Jet last year.

Didn't you think that was expensive when you were booking it? Is there any way you can get your money back?

How/where did you it at that price Bekiboo?

According to the booking on this site what they paid seems about right.

Defjam's right. Looks like that's their rates for this year. Works out to about 110 euros/night for 13 nights or 100/night for 14 nights (not sure how long you're staying).

Garbi, where we're staying in June, is about 85 euros/night for 2 people in September. For apartments in PdB, you're always going to pay around that amount, I think.

wow...that seems alot..iv paid £130 for 10 days in september and thats without my travel agent discount

What kind of place are you staying in and where? We're talking about 2-person 1-bedroom apartments with breakfast. Of course it'll be cheaper if you've got just a hotel room. Also, San Antonio (especially San Antonio Bay area) is cheaper than Playa d'en Bossa.

Where/how mate?

I`m thinking of going back for closing parties so it would be a help if you share. :D

im a travel agent anyway so know were 2 look,
i got my flights threw thomsonfly and my accomadation with lowcost beds both web sites altho obviously agents get cheaper accomadation prices than what you would get booking it direct..
hope this helps??

Ya, see. Central Park is a 1-star in San Antonion with a rack rate of about 20 euros/night.

We're spending more for 3-star on the beach in Playa d'en Bossa.

It all depends on your budget, really. Most important thing is to have money for partying

well im nt really fussed bout the accomadation to be honest i cant see myself spending alot of time in there at all

Thank Christ for that then! I thought I really had been ripped off! I remember the travel agent telling me that Spanish resorts have gone up in price this year considerably, whereas places like Greece are dirt cheap, but I just thought she was trying to make me feel better before I parted with my life savings (I'm a student) :D

Does it not just depend on the time of the season and where you're flying from?

I paid about £400-odd two years ago for a fortnight in the Jet, flying from Glasgow in September. It seemed to be the going rate.

I think the reason it's worked out so dear is because you're probably paying subsidory fees for the apartment. Jet apartments sleep 4-6 people, so if it's just the two of you going, you would be paying for the missing two people aswell.
When we stayed there last year, it was £200 each, but here were 4 pepole sharing an apartment.

Rascal, have you checked out expedia, some of their deals are soooo good if booked early enough, plus you get to choose your flights etc. Much better to book this way than through a travel agent. It's what we do all the time now.

That'll be it. Ibiza is really bad for charging high under-occupancy fees.
