The evenings Concrete no longer need to prove anything. I dare not even mention the names of artists who have already made the happiness of these soirees. In any case, the goal is not to prove anything, it has the air of passion, pleasure, quality and a desire to offer something good. This weekend, Sunday to be exact, in the Parisian cold, a choice line-up warmed our bodies to the tips of our extremities.
Emerging from the surprising Die Nacht, with barely time to stop and eat some madeleines it was already time to head for the Quai de la Rapée. This is the beginning of the dream. Grego G imposes; snowflakes join the party and as with the Concrete party in November (here), the atmosphere is wonderful, the people are beautiful, strutting here and there with a smile which says that those who are not here are missing out on something special. In fact, we do not think too much.
It was at 4pm that Paris joins us en masse, the limit is afraid, we'll have to start crossing the barge to take a breather. But at the time to make this journey, there are these big tracks that Jus Ed and Fred P drop to make you cry. Imposing their presence, their selections tend toward perfection, they are beautiful, we are a little humbled. Fred P's set has simply been one of the best sets I've heard. What more do you want? It was unreal. Even more unreal when this enlightened us under super intensive spotlights on the barge. It was time to observe a few seconds, it dances, it's flat, it hit it and is hit, and dances, this dream, oh-la-la it dances.
We'll go breathe? No that's dead.
When Theo Parrish takes his place, it's been 32 hours since we slept but there is still no question of abdication. This is the applause as his intro will be a bombshell. A nice fat synth chained by a funky groove to an atmosphere that borders on apotheosis. "It's seriously smoothe in the barge." You're in front of Theo Parrish, Theo Parrish you see, he is now f*cking - and you f*ck. The result is filtered, perhaps a bit too much. Anyway, it's almost time, not time yet, but our legs are going to race against the slowest snail.
It was nice to come from Brittany in Breton conditions, this evening we did go with a smile and good memories, "it's been a big pleasure." Moreover, we hope you, Paris, will make the trip to Rennes on March 23 for an evening we'll organize, we will celebrate the second two years, with a line up that you can discover on our fan page (here) ( This is advertising that). Anyway, thank you to the organizers, Uzuri, the public, everyone, etc..
