I think it all boils down to who you trust the least: George W. Bush's American government or Putin's Russian government (the shifty Commie barstewards )

I read that and thought hard and I really have no answer to that question

e.g. the tables could easily turn on the UK if we stood up for ourselves a bit more. look at the anti-french sentiment cos they didn't go to war.

As much as I hate the bush administration I'd probably say I'd trust them more - at least not that many outspoken journalists in the US get assasinated by mysterious gunmen

I can see it now. "English Breakfast Tea" will heretofore be known as "Dawn of Freedom Tea"

(meanwhile, the Congressional cafeteria quietly changes "freedom fries" back to "french fries" following the election of Sarkozy)
