can someone please describe to me as best they can the type of music at cocoon. have heard good things and ill have the chance to go to closing party just before i fly bac home. just wanna check i'd like it.

ill only get to a few closing parties as i just miss out on the best time to go by a week or so. there are a few when im there tho. cocoon is same night as manu closing. i loved this last year but wasn't too bothered about manu in general. coccon a better option for this year? could always do cocoon the mon before and still do manu closing. ideas?

The music goes from pretty tough techno right through to more progressive minimal techno. Its a really big mish mash of music but bodes well for a wicked night in there. If you can go when Richie Hawtins on i can guarantee youll have a quality night! Hes an awesome dj who must be seen at least once!
I cant wait to get out there, Hawtins on for about 4 hours....!

yeah i know altrincham,ive caught the tram many a time down there!thats about all though! 8)
i live near didsbury but work in the city centre, you a sankeys reg??
only go sankeys now n again myself,mainly go to a night called 'locked' monthly night at the phoenix.....really good night!!
What dates you in ibiza from then?? Roll on the 7th september for me!!

yeah i wouldn't bother venturing in its no good for anything else but the tram out of it! im hoping to move to didsbury or fallowfield in a few months when i can afford it. was at uni in shef for 3 years and since i have been bac home i can't stand bein so far out from the city.
go sankeys a bit. was there last week and the week before. both good nights. i really like it but haven't been ages before the other week. go out in the gay village quite alot. im straight but i like the atmosphere and people their. i go to manto breakfast club quite alot coz it opens later than most places. have you been? it can be pretty hit and miss but when its good its very good! went there on sat after sankeys and then to an after party till 4 pm the next day! love the people i meet in there. most of the time that is!
im goin on the 7th too. we may be on the same flight hey! goin for two weeks.cant afford it but cant wait!
I was in Cocoon the 15th of august. This year no friend of mine there could put us on a list, not even a discount list. So we had to pay the 50€ 
I saw the party more rammed than ever, as the terrace was very crowded too, given that the Cocoon party used to have the inner room packed while the terrace was at 2/3, a half or even less of capacity. But this time both rooms were full.
I saw Michael Mayer and Ivan Smagghe playing. We stayed almost all night on the terrace. I liked Michael Mayer much more last year though.
The drinks were more expensive than in previous years in this party (15€ a whisky and coke).
As a resume. I'll never get in again if I have to pay 50€ at the door. It's a robbery!! As for the drinks, they are shameless in all the big clubs. It's hardly surprising how many people is consuming that poison called GHB to avoid spending so much money on drinks. :x

Cocoon is the best night on the island with WLS a close 2nd, I've never had a bad night at Cocoon in my 5 years of going to Ibiza and I intend to carry that trend on when I go in 2 weeks

No Frank, I'll be there again from Monday 5th to Friday 9th of Sept. But thinking more on relaxing and having some drinks in the old village than going to parties every night. Maybe we'll go to one or two only.
I've been told Monza Club @ Penelope is minimal techno and is a good party. Have you heard any reviews of it?
Apart from it, I'd like to go to Space, as we didn't go the last time in August. Maybe La Troya after party. Not much convinced to go to Carl Coxis night. I'm not a fan of him actually and been twice to this party in the past.
