Cocoon opens at 6pm???

Very wise move to open at 6pm from now on...
cocoon is very successful and it be very interesting to see how will it go now as a 12-hour party...
however this move brings Amnesia in direct competition with Space for the first time since i can't remember Amnesia being open earlier than 11pm...could this start a new disco war between them???:twisted:

will they be adding more Djs to the ngiht then?

btw, even though they are strict with closing hours.... anyone know if they are less strict with cocoon closing? or have been in the past?

I know the closing hours are nothing knew..

here's hoping to a 22 hour Cocoon closing! :lol:

Is it every party from now on DM or just next monday? I read on another site that they are just doing it as a one off...

Apparently Sven will be playing both the main room and the terrace, and will be playing a 5 hour set in the main room!!!!

well lets hope it's like that for the closing party too,, and that it goes on until 6 pm instead of am 8) 24 hours of Cocoon. ha ha!

I don't know about 6pm tuesday lol, but I dare say they will be opening earlier for the closing- 6am monday maybe? :)

Yeah apparently it's a one off opening at 6- maybe they will be testing the water numbers wise...

But I can see them doing more nights like this, this season- fingers crossed! :)

Cocoon 14th July: Extended Disco Invasion - Opens at 6pm.

Taking advantage of the new licensing hours, Cocoon at Amnesia will open at 6pm this Monday with a special 5 hour set from Sven Vath himself.

Last Monday was a record week for the club as the all star line up featuring Richie and Sven, Ricardo and Luciano wowed over 7000 people across 2 rooms, and had them swinging from the rafters of the VIP, so from this week the German super brand will invade the disco for a full 12 hours.

There has been rumours of this happening since the new licensing rules were released, 6 hours was never enough for the Cocoon crowd, and with after-hours and morning extensions a thing of the past, the only real alternative is to open as early as possible.

Get in at 6pm and you'll have daylight on the terrace before going into night, a full 12 hours to enjoy the party, and perhaps even going home at 6am won't be quite so painful.
