Clubs in MAY!!!!

Hi Pink Angel - have a look at the party calendar on this site - its starting to come together, or check out last years for an idea of what's on around that time.8)

Pink Angel - its a while since I have been to Eden - it caters pretty much for Brits - obviously there are a few other nationalities that go along, but I always found it predominantly Brit. It caters to a younger age group than say Pacha, or Space imo. so therefore, I would probably stick out like a sore thumb.

What sort of music are you into and what DJ's would you like to see whilst out there?
 
Thanks Puppylover!! Im not really fussy when it comes to Music, but want somewhere with a good atmosphere and not full of kids!! But I know May is a quiet enough time to go...i suppose Ill find out when I get over through word of mouth. Will Cafe del Mar be open then? Heard so much about it!!

No worries - you will find the sunset bars are pretty much all open in May

Cafe Del Mar, Mambo, Savannah, Coastline, SunSea etc, Kanya has been knocked down (apparently a new and improved Kanya will be built with accommodation, rather like the Coastline Bar) which hopefully will be up and running for the season starting. Great restaurant not far from SunSea (back of the old Kanya) called Kasbah - nice food, lovely setting for meals (excellent sunset ) and a great chill out bar at the back of the restaurant. Kumharas is another great bar to watch the sunset - but this is in San An Bay - I find it a lot more chilled than the sunset strip in San An, very hippified in that there are henna stalls, jewellery stalls, carving stalls that sort of thing, it also has a fab restaurant (but dont expect speedy service!! :lol: :lol: ) and some great after sunset entertainment... Great place to chill! Get the bus from the Port in San An to the Bay Area (think its about 1.50€) If you use the search option in this forum you will find a whole host of information that you didnt even knew you needed to know :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Thanks a mill!! I will keep all those places in mind. I havent booked the holiday yet but probably the end of may, possibly the 19th or 20th for one week. We are probably going to get a package from one of the travel agents. I hear San An Bay is lovely, is that true. We want to stay somewhere nice and near all the clubs but not too near of you know what I mean, we like to chill out and sit on our asses too!!!

Same problem here.Is there any people beginning of may?Come with 9 teammates to party a week,we rent a villa near city.Pacha and El Divino are open weekends,more i dont know..10 ibiza rookies need help.

San An Bay is actually ok - I find it preferrable to San An in that its a bit quieter (less football shirts and beer monsters :lol: more family orientated to be honest) there is a bus that goes through to san An regularly and really cheap, or you can get the little ferry from a few of the little bays direct to San An. The bus stops across the road to Eden and Es Paradis and the bus actually terminates a short walk away from the Sunset bars so its ideal for those trips into San An (one thing to note is that the roads get jammed just before sunset with everyone and their dog trying to get to the bars in time to watch this - so always good to leave the Bay a good hour before the Sunset :lol: . Another good cheap and cheerful area to stay is Cala Gracio (which is past the Sunset Strip near to a little beach (Cala Gracio) and friends of mine stayed in the Costa Mar complex - pretty basic but lovely views and really quiet area - a 5 - 10 min walk along the beach to the sunset strip.

The other main clubs are on the main road between San An and Ibiza town, Amnesia and Manumission - if you buy your tickets from Bar M you get a free bus from outside the Bar to the club. Other clubs ie Pacha, El Divino are in Ibiza Town (well just along from the harbour - a 10-15 min walk from the main town centre - Pacha not to be missed!!) and Space is in Playa Den Bossa along with Bora Bora the best bar on the Island - this is a must for an evening......:lol: :lol: :lol:

If you can, try to go as late in May as you possibly can......8)

Hola Pink!

Café del Mar will be def open late may, and actually it's a very good time of the year to go and experience it cos it won't be packed with lots of clapping seals and you won't find lots of boats between you and the sunset. :D

Im just about to book!!! Which side of the Island is better, San Antonio area or Ibiza town area??? First time going!!! :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll:

Its going to be either Port Des Torrent near San An or Playa den bossa:?: :?:​
