4: Armin Van Buuren

Met Marco V loads of times great guy good dark style !! 8)
 
Either dirty funky house in the style of Jon Carter, Delboy Carter etc.

Really soulful US house in the style of Louie, Krivit, Chandler etc.

A bit of good trance, eg. Oakie in his good old days.
 
When clubbing i would have to say:
House - disco, funky, french, electro, tech
Techno - minimal, funky, hard
Trance - melodic, vocal, uplifting
enough is enough ;)
 
i am quite lucky in that i like loads of styles of music, the only thing i dont like is hardhouse and i'm not overly keen on diva led soulful house.

my favorite djs atm is definatley james zabiela, followed by van dyk, other up there are sasha, digweed, nick warren, erick morillo, harry romero, dave clarke, francois k, steve lawler, scott bond, tiesto, luke slater

i'd 2nd that & add all those old skool heads (ie. Sasha, Diggers, Warren)
although @ the moment i guess i am in2 anything that gets my arse shaking ;)

vocal house that's not 2 soulful :roll:
melodic breaks & trance
& if i'm off it some quality psy-trance gets me going :twisted:

far from it, my favourite is probably for an angel
 
Have to agree there with fav of Van Dyke's being "for an angel"....
Everytime I hear it I wanna cry.....
Trance between 98-01 was at its best though! I can't say I listen to too much anymore....
But House is my passion!!!!!
Funky, Tribal, Latin, Disco!!!!

rightio there sista!! the stuff they call trance these days is sooooo god damn AWEFUL it's turned the word "trance" in2 a dirty one IMHO.....

On the PVDyke tip though....
