Club Paraiso/Ibiza Rocks Hotel - Changes?

Evening all!
Just wondering if anyone knows the full scale of changes made at the old paraiso since it became the ibiza rocks hotel?
Stayed at the paraiso in 2005 and 2006 and thought it was brilliant, much better than the klippe and fiesta apartments where we stayed in 2003 and 2004.
Main points of interest are whether the security is still as tight as it used to be, is it all still a card system?
Also, remember reading somewhere that all the rooms where gonna be gettin a lick of paint and a bit of a going over, and that they should all be done by late July, any idea if this has actually happened?
See a few foties on facebook and the bar area and upstairs (what used to be the 'rep room' look well better.
I just hope they havent binned the boss bike riding parrot from the entertainment schedule! I've heard (ie: started) Rumours he's even entered the tour de france this year!

Yeah as far as i know it still is the card system. Ive never been before but my cousin works for thomsons and i asked her. you need to sign a guest book to get in if you bring guests in tho.

the hotel has totally changed, all black furniture, ibiza rocks posters on the wall, ibiza rocks logos on the pillows, and even a love pack wen u arrive with items that u can leave to your imagination! haha, there are rooms with xboxes in and also random rooms with beer taps in.

i'll try and find some pictures cos there are some recent ones floating about!

but whats this about a fairground? im soo excited since you said that! i thoughtthere was only the slingshot!!

wow good pictures they are.looks has if they have really spent some money on this place.i stayed there in 2k and it was a right dump.well worn out.lets hope it stays this way and treated like a hotel and not a dos house.

They have really done a job on this one! Looks amazing!

Hope we get either a pool level room or one of the top 'superiror' rooms.
We had a pool level room in 2005 was quality, but had one overloking the tennis court in 2006, only good thig about that was you could hear your own music!
Really looks like they've made an effort with the place though, agree with woodruffe, it was a bit 'worn out'.
They still using the card sysytem instead of room keys? Surely though now the bar's are all cash as opposed to having to put money of your room card?
Gonna have a gander on the ibiza rocks website now sunderlandgirl, it weren't workin last night for some reason.
Looking good though, 7 weeks and counting!
 
Few mates were staying there 18th june -25th june, and when I was there in the day you still had to put money on a card to buy drinks from the bar.
During the early afternoon there seemed to be no security and we walked into the pool area unchecked and didnt need to sign in although apparently this system is still in place.
