Just wanted to let people know about the great time i had here on wednesday. Obviously it has strong competition from Erick Morillo @ Pacha, but i would truely recommend this night to any one. We turned up at 2.30am hearing Seamus Haj playing a techy remix of 'Last Night a dj Saved my Life', he played alot of quality funky house. Then the main man Kurd Maverick came on at about 3am - 5am and what a great set he played. All of this years classics were ticked - 'Electro', 'Put Your Hands Up 4 detroit', 'Walk Away (remix)' and not forgetting of course 'The Rub' etc. Then one of the best sets i heard all week was from Jo Mills who played till close. Dirty bleepy house music. By this time i was plastered and me and my friend decided to move to the small dance floor to the right of the dj booth and dance around there like monkies on acid. She was on 4 an hour i think and was fantastic. i also loved the fact that she only played vinyl too but thats for another debate.
Oh yeah, add to the fact that we got free wristbands from sitting on San An beach that afternoon, especially when we were about to pay for tickets anyway in a record shop, just added to an even better evening.
Great great evening!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
