:lol: I am a first timer to ibiza this summer (girlie!) its a really strange question but i was hoping that some girlies can help me out on what the fashion is over there or what people tend to wear? i can't imagine wearing my heels for 9-10 hours!!! from previous friends who have been etc it seems pretty casual or am i wrong? also do certain clubs have dress codes etc??

any advice would be really appreciated!
 
There are no dress codes in Ibiza really. I tend to wear strappy vests, skirts and flip flops even when i go out and its the norm really so you wont feel silly like you did if you went out like that over here.
 
You don't need to wear heels in the clubs, infact I'd actively discourage it unless you want sore feet!

Sandals and trainers are fine.
 
:) thanks very much its really helpful! i expect you can't go wrong but sometimes you see piccies of girls really dressed up and others aren't
 
some girlies like it OTT - I personally love a great dress and high heels but somehow it seems a bit too much....wear comfy clothes, sexy sleek things, a nice bag, couple of earrings, cool shades and stuff to accessorise with. if you like flat shoes - wear ´em! peeps won´t notice that much, really.

Go classy, sexy but laid back. nothing worse that trying too hard! relaaaax is the key word. I wear a lot of loose pants, cool top and accessorise!
 
:P i think comfort is more for me i have had to many long nights in heels and my feet have been knackered!!!! just reading everyones posts about going to bora bora and things can't imagine girls in high heels!!!

Bora Bora is a beach bar. I certainly wouldn't advise wering heels there ;)
 
;) well that what i figured and then if you move to whereever after bora bora. i think my mind was made up after the reply. i may slip one pair of heels in my case
 
Anything goes in Ibiza, whatever you where you wont feel out of place.
For me Ibiza is a time to where exactly whatever i feel like wearing- if i want to glam it right up i do, if i want to tone it down thats what i do!
Wear whatever you feel happy in darlin, and when you feel good you have a good time- so have fun :D
 
My girlfriend says take heels (and a taxi) and save the flip flops for the beach. She says people who tell you to dress down are either fat girls or insecure blokes. Have a good time
 
:? umm i think that was a bit harsh. i will take some heels but for example going to space then bora bora and on from there i won't be wearing heels!!!

THat's exactly what I think about girls too dress up or girls in heels in Ibiza :?
 
silvia thats a bit harsh I honestly think!! I´m a (generally speaking:good looking) blonde girl, and I just wanna show off my legs as much as possible - sorry, fact! and by doing that a high heel never hurted anyone!

it might be more the sentense: the girls who tell peeps to dress down are perhaps insecure girlies themselves?
high heels all the way baby! + you can really kich someone with those things!
 
no no it has ALWAYS been the issue on this board....and what peeps where, apparently says a lot about them, dont listen to any of us really, wear what u like and if PEEPS BITHER TO CARE OR SOMMENT, ITS BECUZ THEY ARE HAVING A F*CKING BORING TIME THEMSELVES!!!
