Closing parties

Not been to them before but looking at going 30th September - 4th October. Is it still busy at this time? and warm?

I can't see any of the other closing parties on Spotlight apart from Space and DC10. What other ones are there, and is it worth buying the tickets off here before we go or buy them over there? I'm guessing the other line-ups haven't been announced yet but when they do do the flights go up, so is it worth me booking flights as soon as possible or won't they change in price much?

Been looking at staying in Jet apartments in Playa D'en Bossa are they any good? Want to be in a place that's always lively and this seems one of the best but still reasonably cheap?

Anyone been to the closing parties before that want to share their experiences with me please do as I can't find much about them on the internet.

Also, how much money is advisable for the long weekend?

Sorry for all the questions, just thought this is probably the best place to ask. Cheers.

I am going to book flights asap, because there is noway that you will be disappointed in the line ups, if thats the sort of music your into.

I went a few years ago, booked all my tickets in advance thinking they would sell out, and i ended up getting swine flu, so lost **** loads of money.

I also find that whenever I book tickets beforehand, there is always one night I end up not going to, either because of being too hanging from the night before, or finding something else that sounds better... therefore, for the first time this year, I have vowed not to buy tickets before I go to the Island... (which is hard with Ushuaia tickets being 25 euro discount price... but i will do it!!!). Because although sometimes it saves you money beforehand, I always end up being worse off.

RE Jet Bossa, I stayed there before, and never again, its too crazy noisy, didnt like it at all... however it is a lively place, and right in the thick of it all, so if thats what you want, and you dont mind rowdiness, you may like it.

RE money... how longs a piece of string??? take as much as you can, I normally aim for 1000 euros for a week to ten days... so maybe.... 100 euro a day??? I dont know, everyone is different, likes to eat in different sorts of places, drinks different sorts of drinks and quantities...

I would say, take as much as possible...

My top tip would be... dont miss DC10 CLOSING!!!

Thanks for replying so quick.

I just thought regarding getting the tickets early do they sell out then I could be over there and not be able to get a ticket? Or is there always some floating about from ticket sellers?

Probably daft question about spends, but just wondered how much people took. Ibiza virgin me haha.

Weather still decent and still fair few people about? Not a ghost town by the dates i'm looking at going is it?

U can easily buy tickets on the island and don't have ti purchase them in advance on the internet.

Regarding the weather - it's a hit and miss, can be sunny at one day and rainy on the other.

I booked 25/9 - 4/10 for thc closings of the closing parties... see u there!
