Been away from this board for a week due to a bit of a Wobbly time.
The Saturday before last just before i was due to go out, I started getting these severe pains in my chest and shooting pains down my left arm. Then I started seeing stars and couldn't breath properly. I was in absolute agony. I'd been having chest pains all week but thought nothing of it
Anyhow, my missus bundles me into the car and we fly down to A&E - i honestly thought it was a heart attack, reallr really really fcking scary. I'm not a dramatic person, but I wasn't confident of my chances at that point. Can't really explain how i felt, but it was like I was going and i couldn't stop it from happening.
In A&E i was put onto a oxygen mask and had loads of jabs and tubes and bleepers on me.While i was there the bloke in the next cubicle had a cardiac arrest and unfortunatley wasn't so lucky as me.
I spent a few days in hospital. I was finally diagnosed as having an inflamed heart due to an injury brought on by vigourous physical exertion the previous week. (Damn those little blue diamond shaped fellas.)
I couldn't walk all last week as i couldn't get my breath. Back on my feet (and back at work but taking it easy).
It was, without exception, the scariest experience i've ever had.
And I've been Es Paradis.
