Made it to Circoloco for the first time in ages on Monday, and not been since the terrace was open in the daytime. Arrived about 7pm to Black Coffee who played an absolutely SUPERB set - really original and perfect for the setting.

Wasn't very busy around that time but filled up and plenty of appreciative faces. They lost the sound about 10 minutes before he was due to finish so no big deal really but would have been nice to hear him finish his set.

Moved inside to the terrace (already busy) where Luca Ballerini was playing entertaining early doors stuff, a little along the lines of Iban Mendoza and once more many happy faces. The place got packed for Dixon - space was a struggle now and again but fortunately there was just enough room to tough it out and have a good time. Not much coming and going which helped a lot. He played a great set too, up until the final 15 minutes or so, which went very "girly" and for me, unfortunately completely spoiled the vibe.

Start of Tale of Us was truly incredible just as I'd started to lose heart - really need to know what track they opened with because it was one of the best set-starters I've ever heard. But by now it was very packed to the point of discomfort. The music was AMAZING but I had got a text confirming a boat charter for the morning. In order to have a hope of being in a fit state for it, and in view of the overcrowding, I decided to walk out on probably the best set I'd likely hear this trip.

The music volume in there is serious - definitely needed some simple foam earplugs but with these it was enough not to suffer from ringing in the ears when I left.

Guess later in the Season it might be different, but I really enjoyed most of the night. Water was 5Euros and a vodka redbull 15. With the early evening terrace session and a nice crowd, this party still beats any other daytime party on the island. Great to see it in such good form.

I was here for this as well and I wore earplugs. I actually wore earplugs at all events. Dixon played harder than I thought he would. Tale of us was sick... Cocoon afterwards was jokes too.

I'm going to do Cocoon closing after I go Circoloco this year. Never done both together before wondering what my energy levels will be like by the time I hit amnesia! It will have to be banging in there to keep me going :spank:
