8O 8O 8O this is my face when I hear in the english board people doing allready Christmas shopping, is this a normal practice??? I am the one that goes the last day in a hurry with thousands of mad people and everything it's so crowded but everyyear for me happens this way.

Mikkak, you were planning your next summer holidays yesterday, don't try to look like a mañana girl 8O    ;)
calla ;)
;)   that it's because I need to have in mind my holydays now that their finish and I am allready missing the beach and the sun, it's not the same and you know it ;)

There's a woman in my office who has all her presents for this year already. She bought them all in January 8O 8O

The same woman booked a holiday last December for this December and I've heard nothing else for the last 9 months from the itinerary to the type of sunscreen she has purchased. I'm not the most patient person in the world but I'm doing well

Me - I leave my shopping until the last minute;)

I always do mine at end of October/beginning of November mainly for the reason that I can't bear to be anywhere near the shops in December. Then by the time December comes I can spend my time doing more important things like getting pissed and going out

It's not normal behaviour tho Mikkak, if you see the shops in Central London on Christmas Eve there's millions of people running round trying to by presents and then wondering why there's nothing left

I have to confess that I started to think my list of christmas shopping

As soon as I get back from summer holidays I start to think about pressies but we never do our shopping till mid november. Usually first week of December everything is done.

The funniest thing is that when I talk about presents to Pep he gets like this  8O :x
But when all our friends are running around the shops two days before Christmas he always says: Oh! We are done! We are very organised and now all we have to do is sit and wait for Santa! 8O

I usually do mine on Christmas eve, but this year I am going to start early, hence the Bluewater trip on Monday :D

I'm normally last minute too but this year I plan to try and get it done by the end of November. Not gonna happen tho I bet

Eurgh can't bear shops@Xmas  . Just like long club queue's can be doing with em.

If bods haven't told me what they want by November then they just get vouchers, from Poundland

Feckin Pikeys

If i remember ill take a photo next time i pass.

I do my shopping online so it doesn't really matter when I do it, as long as everything gets delivered to my parents' house by the time I get back to the States. 8)

*beep* Pikeys

It's pretty much the same where i come from! I've seen xmas trees in peoples houses around mid september! Then the idiots can't understand why the kids get impatient waiting for santa!

When i was a kid we were lucky if the decorations were up on xmas eve! And as for xmas shopping....every year i say i'll get it out of the way early so i have money for the xmas festivities and every year i'll be running round like a headless chicken the week before xmas trying to buy presents and end up too skint for the parties!!

When will i ever learn

I do my Christmas shopping at Duane Reade (the US equivalent of Boots) or at the local 99 cent shop (your Poundworld, except half the price). If I go out of my way and spend loads at Macy's and Bloomingdale's on blinging gifts, people act like the gifts aren't good enough. If I get them a cheap tea set, slippers or a towel, they scream with delight and show off the gifts. Works every time. Then I show off a $300 coat or a plane ticket I bought for myself for Christmas, and they act like their new towel and slippers are better.

I scream when I get one of those cheap gourmet coffee and mug gift sets. Nothing says Christmas better than cheap, pre-packaged gifts! :D
