As far as san an bay chinese goes, I've always had good experiences at the chinese part of the same complex as the moby dick arcade centre. Pleasent staff and great food!
Another great chinese in the bay (again the name escapes me) is the one up the steps and to the right, opposite the T shirt shop. Decent decor, great food and the people are lovely, a really nice Fillipino couple who own the place. And for Thai..can anywhere beat Banyan palace?!8)
