since i've waited around to book flights, the prices of flights I wanted to take have doubled.. so it arrives at 2:00 am on a Sunday...(technically Monday) so only place worth going to, Space and the best part is over.

Its not really worth paying a night, but better than the alternative.

or.. where would you go if you arrived at 2:00 on a sunday?

If I have a night flight I always book a room from the day before so you can check in as soon as you arrive, I can't think of anything worse than not being able to check-in when I arrive, also a lot of hotels/apartments official check-in times are about midday (altho sometimes you can negotiate early if room is empty) so that's a long wait to get into your room if you just book it for the following day.

.. yeah I was going to sleep in stansted and go monday am, but now that flight has gone up, so wouldn't be much more expensive to go sunday and get a room for that night...
I just don't like wasting a night sleeping in Ibiza!... and not much to do on the sunday night!

But just think now you can put your head down for a few hours and wake up in Ibiza feeling all fresh and ready to hit DC10 ;)
