Checking facts about Kooistra robbery

Dutch bar-tycoon Sjoerd Kooistra (owner of the yacht Three Sisters which was a long time one of the first in the show off harbour in Ibiza town but leaved for Barcelona a few years ago) was found dead two days ago in one of his houses in the Netherlands. The cause of his dead is uncertain and speculative. (See internet for that details)

Sjoerd Kooistra was in heavy financial conflict with Heineken, Inbev and other suppliers because of tricky constructions, concerning 20- to 130 million euros. He owned 85 places (20 in Amsterdam) and a lot of these bars went bankrupt and were re-opened again, a construction which made him very impopular over the years. (Bankrupty fraud)

Before, on May 6 this year, the Dutch press stated that Sjoerd Kooistra was attacked in Ibiza Town stabbed with a knive, a robbery wich resulted in a 40 euro credit for the thiefs. Mister Kooistra, Dutch media stated, appeared 3 days in hospital at intensive care. Most media bring this information from the business partner of Kooistra, Grietje van der Veen, highly involved in the financial constructions of his imperium.

There seems no other sources to confirm this.

I am searching for more information about this robbery, I could not find any match when checking the archives of newspapers and forums on Ibiza or in Spain. It would be very helpfull if you could provide me information about this case. Was it ever published on Ibiza that this robbery had occured? Is there any conformation from the police or the hospital?

Although Dutch enterpreneurs are not highly visible in Ibiza, an attack in town for 40 euros ending in an Intensive Care stay shure would lead to local press coverage.

So let me know!

ibiza newspapers never put the name of any victim of crime in the newspaper so you might want to rethink your search criteria.

From what I know (which is very little) is that Sjoerd had many enemies, a friend in Amsterdam was telling me last night that they thinks its suicide :?

As for Ibiza, all I know is that his boat was the first I'd see when getting of the ferry. It was in an amazing location.

In fact police confirmed after intensive research that it was a suicide.
His family does not believe that, his lawyer directly pointed to Heineken as source for the reason for the suicide, the enormous pressure under which the business-war had become. The argument was about 20 million euros, and Kooistra was believed to have much more than that. In the week before the suicide he transferred 100 million to save and protect his friends and family. If he had so much money, why should he kill himself?
I do think there is a lot more behind this.

Today Oscar Hammerstein (lawyer of Kooistra) announced that the story of the Ibiza stabbing was FALSE and was probably created to falsify other reasons to stay on the intensive care in the hospital (no location is mentioned). Being there, Kooistra had several phone calls with new clients to buy one of his properties recently closed by Heineken. Doing such while staying at an IC department in a Hospital is quit strange.

I hope it is clear now that this accident never had happened, and that Ibiza town is a safe place as it ever was, despite this story, brought into the world by Kooistra's family (owning his business) a few weeks before his suicide.

Thanks for your attention, and again: Ibiza is a safe place to celebrate life!
