Cheap hostal - anywhere?

I'd be eternally grateful for any recommendations for cheap hostals anywhere on the island.
I have looked at the hotel section of this site without much success.
I'll be travelling alone, will have a car & have a good knowledge of the island

I would have a look on a website called travelrepublic, it finds out the cheapest accommodation for you and does price up places such as hostal Torres and many more which are located in and around San Antonio!! Hope this helps!!

Hotel Brisav in San An, cheap and cheerful for bed and breakfast. Lively young atmosphere, always had a good stay.

I have now booked at Hostal Cala Boix, not as cheap (though not bad b&b 33 Euros) as I was hoping but somewhere I've always fancied.

Can't wait - 3 years is far too long! 8)
