Changing money

Is it a good idea to change money in the UK or are the rates for travellers cheques pretty good in Ibiza?

Personnally from experience, credit cards have the best rate of exchange, followed by switch/debit cards, changing money in a hotel is easiest, but I found it a big waste of money

I just watch an add on T.V try the post office if you want a good exchange rate for euros, they charge 0% cant get better than that. but i would advises not to take cash, if you do make sure you put it in the safe otherwise your cleaning maids may find it.......
