You really take that tournament seriously?

probably the hardest competition to win...you can only qualify by winning the european cup.

So well....yes I belive the pool will take it seriously.

Sit down Jose..

By your logic, it's the qualifying that's the hard part, not the winning.

What a great draw

We get to do it all over again

Makelele v. Ronaldinho, Terry v. Eto'o, Lampard v. Xavi. The match-ups will be awesome.

This time, in reverse:

Stamford Bridge - Feb 22
Nou Camp - March 7

Bring it on!

really, i'd say it was the worst draw you could have possibly had, barca are firing on all cylinders at the moment and chelsea are going through a low period (albeit still winning games by the odd goal, but not convincing in performance).

i think this is the furthest you'll get..........

It's definitely a cup half empty/half full situation.

On the one hand, it is the toughest possible draw. On the other, there's really very few weak teams left and it would be good to get this game out of the way early. In an ideal world, we'd meet in the final but c'est la vie.

Chelsea haven't been looking their best the past few weeks, but they're still winning games. It's hard to say now how Chelsea and Barca will be playing 2 months from now (and if anyone will be injured).

It'll still be a top defensive team vs. a top offensive one. I think you'll see two games very much like last years - Chelsea playing deep and absorbing pressure and hitting on the counterattack. Barca will spend most of the game pressing for an opening.

If it's anything like the 2nd game last year, it'll be great football entertainment for everyone.

valid points, as a neutral (due to my team showing poor champs league form) they will both be great games but my money has been on barca from the start cos they just ooze quality.

Why in an ideal world would a chelski barca final be good???

When was the last time these teams graced the european cup final?

Mmmmmmm....

Liverpool...Champions of the world. (come on Arsenal!)

If I'm honest about it, at this moment in time, Barca is definitely is in the driver's seat to win the whole thing. I've just got to hope that the Blues get their offense in gear before then to match their defense.
