Any one stayed there? How was it?

Planning my second trip in September and checking out the options.... ;)

Also; any experiences of Lux Mar Complex or Apartamentos Playa Sol, all in PDB / Figueretas area....? Which one would you choose?

I've stayed in the Lux Mar after being transferred from the Central Playa at 4 in the morning :evil:

Personally I wouldn't stay at any of the hotels you mention. There are much better options available to you. We only ended up here as every other hotel was booked up last year

what was wrong with it?

I have to choose 1 of the three because they are the only options for a package deal from Helsinki... Already spent my money in Ibiza in July and that´s why my budget is now really tight...

dann d;

sorry, never stayed there :roll:

It's funny cause those 3 hotels are also the only option in the package deals we got in Israel.

Anyway 2 years ago i've been to Lux Mar. The hotel is very average, nothing more than that. I guess it suits just fine those who plan to mostly not stay indoors and fancy spending most of thier time out of the hotel (clubbing, beaches, etc).

If you really don't mind about where you stay its fine. It's just little things that annoyed me like sea water in the taps, no hot water after midnight. no towels when we first arrived. a few cockroaches. It's quite comfortable though and fairly well located. If you're not going to spend any time there you'll be fine.

I agree.... but....

The tapwater tastes like seawater anywhere on the island...
There was no hot water at several times of the day... but this is a typical problem of any cheap great hotel.... When everybody takes a shower around the same time (whether is late in the afternoon when everybody comes from the beach, or late at night before clubbing time) the hot water suply runs out... had it in Lloret de Mar, had it in Blanes, even had it in the great belgian town of Blankenberge..... cheap tourist hotels and hot water are sometimes a problem... the solution... relax, wait 15 minutes.... :)

Ibiza fauna can be described as .... interresting... if you want to keep cockroaches out, keep the windows closed (the aircon works better that way as wel)

I found the hotel very comfortable, helpfull staff, daily housekeeping (and they waited for when I went out)

DO use the safety boxes and keep the door locked at all times though because they absolutely don't mind if you bring a guest :)
