Central apartments or Casa maria

Hi guys. Going to Ibiza for 4 nights, Friday 3rd June to 7th for my 30th and I somehow became the organiser. There will be 14 of us and was planning to stay in the bay all inclusive but now I've changed my mind as the bay seems to be more family oriented being a father myself I wouldn't like to have 14 lads staying at my hotel getting drunk off free booze.
So now it's between central apartments or Casa Maria because of there central location and lively atmosphere. If any of you have been I'd be interested to hear your views please;)

I was also planning to do a boat party but have bow seen the pukka up won't have started gutted....... Will any boat parties be on do u know?

Will be going to bora bora on the Sunday as that's my bday. Will it be lively at this time of year and if it is what time is best to go?

Thanks guys

I have stayed at Casa Maria in 2007, it is cheap and cheerful....no complaints. The guys who works there is a legend, I forget his name but he has been in Ibiza for 25+ years and I remember having some mental conversations with him post Space!!!!

The apartments and clean, safe and people coming and going with music all the time as you would expect. The pool (on the roof) would be my only gripe, really small and very few beds etc so our only spot to chill after a heavy night was to wander down the the beach (which isn't exactly a chore either!!).

We booked through Spotlight and as usual it was spot on!

I don't know central apartments, but having googled them, if I was deciding between the two, even though I know Casa Maria and thought it was fine, would probably go for Central, just my gut feeling!!

Anyway, have fun!!

I've stayed in the Casa Maria 3 times and would happily recommend it. You can have your music on and it doesn't tend to travel too far. Its very casualty friendly. The staff are great - if you treat them with respect. Its minutes from the centre of San An, Taxi rank, bus-station, boat trips, Wips, West End if thats your bag, sunset strip etc. Theres an ATM just across from the hotel. The rooftop pool/bar is great. Its not massive, but its a rooftop pool! The air con works in the height of summer which is also a massive plus, as I've stayed in places with air-con that didn't work so well, and no air-con at all. Its cheap, no frills accommodation, but I recommend it to anyone who isn't dead set on having a beach front hotel, or a sea view, and who isn't snobby about staying in San Antonio. Despite being in the town, its fairly quiet (compared to a few streets west).

The night porter John is an absolute gent.

Quite a lot of us staying at Casa Maria in July this year.. few lads staying in another hotel. Do your reckon they would have any problems coming back to casa maria daytime/nightime?

I wouldn't have thought so, have always had friends round at all hours in rooms etc. who used the pool. Was never a problem before. Again, I stress, treat the staff who work there with a bit of respect and you'll be fine.

I agree with with the above post.... The guy at Casa Maria is a ledgend.... and His name is John..... Awesome dude....
