Looking for suggestions on a place to stay 100 euro or less a nite (single room or double for single use) in Sept 2004 with air con, in the 'east end' situated somewhere south of bora bora & space and within walking distance to both of those clubs and pacha.

Haven't nailed it down, but saw some mention of the Sirenis Aparthotel Jabeque; lots of positive reviews but seems popular with families... might be ok, but hoping for more 'clubber friendly'... haven't been able to get rates or avail for it yet though... and don't specifically where it is at yet! But got an idea it might satisfy my criteria...

Otherwise, was considering staying at the ever popular Jet apartments (or Bossa Mar next to it), but if so, how do folks usually get to pacha? Is taxi necessary from there?

Regarding Jet, are they a 5 night minimum hotel? I checked for 4 nites and it said no go, but 1 extra nite was ok (!)?

Thanks for any feedback!

I have heard only good word about Es Vive hotel. It's situated so that you can walk to Pacha and Space. And it´s clubber friendly. Another clubber friendly hotel is El Hotel - Hotel Pacha. It´s situated cross the street from Pacha 8)

If you just have money - don't book Jet Apts :!:

I have just booked up at the Sirenis Jabeque, and a friend of a friend worked at this hotel last year. it is suposed to be 10mins walk from Bora Bora and 10mins walk to Ibiza town - so you have the best of both really. Not sure if they sell rooms by the night, but this property is featured in the Thomsons, Unijet and First Choice summer sun brochures. My boyf and I have paid £677.00 each for 14nts in Aug.

Hope this helps

it doesnt and there is a large suppliment for one person cause they are for 3 or 4 people.

p.s not sure bout walking to pacha from here its a good walk but bb is just 10 mins away.

Check out the fiesta hotels and apartments. They have quite a few in playa and they are good value. I stayed there last year and was quite happy.

superstara - yeah, have heard only good things about es vive hotel as well... both that one and el hotel may be slightly out of my price range tho

I tried sending jabeque an email regarding their rates and got a return mail saying their box was full! :!: Didn't see any online booking for them to check the rates and that single supplement...

groover - hey, just saw in another post you stayed at fiesta hotel pdb... checked the fiesta hotels website and it said 'not recommended for families' about that one... :D liked that... price looks good, but ceiling fan only in room, but didn't seem to be any issue for you... will definately keep that one in mind, but am having trouble finding a map to show exactly where it is at... :?:

also, saw the 'fiesta roulette' option! really cool idea, but no prices avail for the dates I was looking for... they assign guests to their hotel the day before arrival or something (you only know general area beforehand)... its like 'run of hotel' instead of 'run of house'... :)

I've spoken to the Sirenis Jabeque recently via email.

However, I know for a fact that they don't have any rooms for most (if not all of the season) to book as they are all taken by holiday firms.

I see.. I guess that might be why they don't have any ability to do online reservations on their website currently...

fiesta club palm beach and fiesta club bahamas have air-conditioned rooms.........look at those two on the fiesta site. Both of those are not recommended for families.

The Fiesta complex is located across the road from Space and about a 3 minute walk to Bora Bora........the complex is enormous and includes about 5 hotels.

Depending on what time of year you go, AC may not be necessary. I went early September and found that the ceiling fan did the job just fine. All of the fiesta hotels are on the beach so they get a good breeze coming into the rooms.
