Looks like one of the best stations is coming to the island for the whole summer ...announcements later today...but looks like in/ near Cala de Bou..
 
it’s a good station in theory, we have it in the North West UK. But the DJs are almost constantly talking over the records with stuff like “big up da crew” or “locked in” etc

The original tower block they broadcast from is right next to Stratford station. It’s the best station I can pick up in my car.

I am a big fan of Centreforce, listen to it all the time on DAB in the car and some of the shows back on Mixcloud. There is a strong relationship with Clockwork Orange with Andy Manston playing on a Friday afternoon and Danny Clockwork Saturday mornings. I enjoy it. Good for soulful house especially...Jamie F on Sunday afternoon is a great listen...

Yes, the dj's do talk a lot but most of the time it is shouting out people who have text in...which is what pirate radio was all about really...the sense of community and feeling part of it.

Looking forward to seeing what they do in Ibiza...wouldn't surprise me if they link up with Clockwork Orange...
