CD Disappointments

was looking through my CDs last night for some inspiration - looking for something that I hadnt listened to in a good while...... I was quite shocked at how many CD's I had bought and really been disappointed with/let down by.

What CD's in your collection are you disappointed with - doesnt have to be dance related but it can be....

Some of mine are

Moloko - Things to make and do
- bought on the strength of Pure Pleasure Seeker

Goodbye Country - Hello Nightclub
- bores me to death

John "00" Fleming - white label euphoria
- an unwanted christmas present

Coldplay - Parachutes
- friend died in a parachute accident one week after getting it..

Moby - Moby
- no other reason that its tripe.....

Loads of others but cant be arsed to type them all up! :D

Darren Emerson - GU (i forget which one but I imagine they're all as bad as each other

The bonus mix cd with Way Out West - Don't look Now

I love this!

I don't buy 'em if I think they're going to be poor, but...

Hed Kandi - Summer 2004: like the Twisted Disco cd but the rest leaves me a tad on the cold side.

Clubber's Guide Summer '04: gift, honestly. 7 decent tracks on the entire double cd, and I'd already got 4 of them.

Soup Dragons - Can't remember it's that poor: 1990, bought for I'm Free. The rest was bobbins.

Seal - Can't remember again: 1992(?) Got cos I was one short for my Britannia Music Club initial selection :P

Really? I quite like it!

My choices:

PVD - Reflections (what utter tripe)

Dido - Life for rent (what was I expecting??)

All the Korn CDs since 'Follow the leader'

It was all crap. There might have been 'Kiss For A Rose' (which I didn't like anyway). Actually I think 'Crazy' was on there, which I did like. Is that thing still going?

Too right! They'd lure you in with promises of really cheap cds ('pick 4, yeah ok there's only 2 in here worth buying but look at the price!') and then after you'd signed your soul to them they'd automatically send you (despite ticking only the Rock and Indie boxes on your straight-in-the-bin preferences sheet) 'Kenny G: The B-Sides' as your choice of the month, and to start with you ordered something else, but then after a while you'd forget cos all the good stuff was cheaper in HMV, and then for a couple of months you'd send them back and order something else, but finally you'd stop caring and end up with 'Crocodile Shoes' or something easily as crap.

Eeee, happy days!
