CD burning using Nero - help needed!

Hey, trying to burn a couple of discs using zero using CD COPY/on the fly option.

Everytime i do this it goes to burn an image on the PC (which isn't really on the fly)

Can't find a way to remove the burn image option so that i can burn straight from one to drive to the other.

Any suggestions?

I've also tried using WMP, but can't see an option for removal of gaps between tracks.

There's a 'quick copy' or 'direct copy' function on it from memory.....

Do you have two cd drives on your pc?

On WMP there is a check box for the gaps. If you go through the burn process I think it's the last page before it starts burning. It's there somewhere anyway.

Thanks guys, but i've looked at every screen in detail and found none of those options.

Using WMP version 10 and Nero version 5.5

I'll have another go when i've got time.

Drew, I don't know about WMP, but I have Nero 6 and in Nero when creating a CD, when you add all the tracks to the list on the left of the screen you can highlight each individual track and click with the right mouse button. The display that comes up has the artist name and title and also number of seconds gap (default 2), just reduce this to zero. You have to do it manually though on each individual track before burning.

As for copying 'on the fly' with Nero, select the CD copy option and you should get a display which has tabbed pages. Image, Copy Options, Read Options, Burn. In Image there is a tick box for copying 'on the fly' select that. Then select Copy Options and you should be able to point at the source drive and the destination drive (assuming that you have two CD drives).

I stress this is in Nero version 6, can't remember if it's the same in your version.

Hope that helps. ;)

Done all that Les, but just keeps going back to the 'save image' screen.

Maybe it's not reading one of the drives properly?
