hey all,

going to stay in catalina next wednesday for the 1st time, now the whole reason we have chose this hotel is for a sunset view for at least some part of the holiday.

if we get there and we are unlucky enough to not get a sunset view what are the staff like in changing your room when someone who has the view checks out?

thanks

Think you'll struggle as I guess once somebody checks out somebody else will be straight in. Would'nt worry too much though as you have the sunset strip right on your door step.

yeah i've heard on here somewhere before though that if you speak to reception when you get there (if you havent got a sunset view) that she would try and sort you out with the next available one. The people who are checking in won't know that they were suppost to have a sunset view will they

just seeing if anyone has done that before?

Stayed at Catalina appts a few weeks ago.

DODGY AS **** if uv got a ground floor room. Sum1 tried to break into our room thru our balcony and a few other rooms got broken into.

When u arrive ask bout the sunset view but doubt ul get 1 as there are only a few that have sunset views.

If when checkin in they give you room 201 -208 ask for another room as these are the rooms that are on the ground floor and the balconies are very easy 2 break into.

The staff that work there are pretty decent but they wont do **** for you.
It took us 4 days to get a bathroom light fixed (and that was with the guy givin us a lightbulb n tellin us 2 do it ourselfs). Also when we rreported that our balcony door lock wa sbroken due to a breakin attempt the guy took a note of our room no and done NOTHING about it leavin us the last 3days of our hols with no lock on our balcony. It wasnt fixed when we left so the poor sods that got the room after us prob got broken into

not good! thanks for telling me though.

1st bad report i've heard on the hotel on here though, just hope you were v.unlucky!!

never had a problem before with hotels in ibiza, the klippe and mar y vent were both great, got a decent view in both, rooms were perfect and never had anything robbed.

They are nice appts and the air con makes some difference. U should b fine as long as u dont have one of the rooms on the ground floor at the back of the appts. Sayin that tho it s only sumthin like 8 rooms in the whole building that are easy 2 break into.

Make sure u dont get room 201 that was our room and it was the worst in the buildin as it was the ground floor corner balcony
