Hey it will be my first time to the party island, and as me and my friends were all strapped for cash we went for the cheapest option that we could.

This is where i was wondering if anyone has been to the casa maria apartments could give me the heads up if the place is any good and if it party friendly, as there will be 9 of us in total.

This is not to say i don't not like the look of the place just good to get information from people who have stayed there, instead of the same reviews about it on every website

So any information you may have would be great thanx

Going 24th july to 1st of aug let the party begin:D

hi, its class. basic but clean accomodation, party friendly (so long as your not a complete fanny) and just out of the way of the west end so its not ridiculously noisy. ace little pool with bar on the roof. definite preferred hotel in san antonio if you can do without having a seaview from your room and the beach outside your front door. id always stay here if my mates would only stop looking at more expensive options :spank:

anyway, im there at the same time so if you see a big bearded scot cutting about the place say hello.

stayed at the casa maria in 2006 and 2007. excellent accomodation, clean, good service and very much recommended! good location as well, plus you can get some much needed sleep as its very quiet.

The hotel is superb, stayed there in 2006 and going back there this year, 13th July-23rd ....cant wait

thats wkd cheers guys for your help on this matter, this is aload of my mind and i can tell all my unorganised m8's thats its been recommend by a big bearded scot:P lol

ps never organising this trip again, unless i get new m8's who give you the money when you say you need it lol, thanx again:D cheers

It seemed different this year, the legendary night porter wasn't there! :(

Not sure if its the same owners either.

It is a quality place though.

I stayed there last year, I agree, clean friendly and well looked after. They weren't too happy when we tried to bring some mates back after Pacha but I can see why the state we were in 8)

Papa John I believe?? What a dude, we stayed up one night and had a beer with him, his knowledge of the island and appreciation of what goes on there and how things have changed was a pleasure to listen to. Shame he inst there this year, he def added to our trip last year.

great place to stay

well had my holiday and it was brilliant such an experience , the apartments are very good and you will be glad to hear john is back and working the reception again, the guy had a stroke and got back to work in 7 weeks thats amazing , he was really good with us and had no problem with us brining people back as long as we was quite and not being dicks lol and he also sneaked the air con on for us every night which saved us 8 euro's a day

The location is brilliant and well what else can i say i would recommend this place to anyone

Just one thing we arrived at 3.00am and hadn't book the hotel room for the previous day so the room wasn't ready yet and had to wait until 12pm for our rooms, so just make sure u book the day before

Glad you had a good one mate, we had to switch over the road to the Tramuntana on the Tuesday due to booking Casa Maria too late, and it was a total disaster due to lack of air-conditioning :(

Only thing which spoiled the vibe in the hotel were some louts, I think on the Saturday afternoon on floor 5? They were directly above us, throwing things at locals and being a general embarrassment. The locals were standing outside taking notes to no doubt pass to the cops. Not sure but I think they must have been chucked out.
