I only found out today that there is a carnival in Ibiza town on Sunday. As far as I can gather it starts in Vara de Rey at 11am. Í don´t know how long it lasts or where it finishes but I heard it goes to Jesus just out of town. If anyone knows more or can correct me on anything then please post, ok?

you can celebrate dijous llarder in the vara de rey tonight 18.00 or parque de la paz 19.00. in san an it's all happening at cala gracio 14.00. san an carnaval parade is on tuesday at 17.00 and on saturday there's the extreme running obstacle course competition on arenal beach.

We went to the carnival on Sunday. I really enjoyed it but I didn´t get many pictures because my camera battery was nearly flat when I got there and I had forgotten to recharge the spare. 
Many of the Spanish spectators were dressed up as if it was cold but it was actually warm and sunny. Some of the highlights were the large man dressed like Carmen Miranda who had a dildo in his mouth and kept lifting one leg to pull aside the gusset of his panties to give us a flash
. I´m sure he could never have got away with that behaviour in front of kids and old ladies back in blighty. I saw the zombies and thought they looked a bit boring until Michael Jackson´s "Thriller" came booming out of the sound system and they did the dance from the Thriller video. It was fantastic! The "Hairspray" gang were great too. Especially the kid in the grey/black wig that played the part of the lead singer and also the girl in the red wig and silver dress who really gave it her all.
I´ll put some pics up later this week.
