Carl Cox VS Armada

Ahhhhhhhhh ppl :) i am so confused sill in deciding whether i should go to Carl Cox on Tuesday or Armada instead.

As i said before i will be in Ibiza only for 4 days monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday July 21, 22, 23, 24

So as for monday tiesto privilege
wednesday erik morillo pacha
thursday cream amnesia

now for tuesday i really wanna go to Armada coz the lineup is crazy ! this is the lineup

but then i wont see space, which i really wanna see but i do not like techno that much all night until now the carl cox night will have the lineup as follows:

Carl Cox
Gilles Peterson

does anyone here knows Gilles Peterson ? is he any good and what style of music he spins?

will there be more djs for that night other than peterson and cox ?

will there be a room in space other than techno ? like will be pumpin house music or somethin ?

am sorry guyz i know am askin to much questions i hope i am not a bother :spank:

Carl cox, no question...

He starts a lot earlier, you get the funky stuff onthe terrace, before moving into darker stuff! Always a great night!!!
 
Gilles Peterson is a Radio 1 dj and i´m a big fan of his. I´ve got a cd that he´s put out.

But i haven´t seen him live. The music he plays on the radio and on cd is very soulful, funky, with some latin in there, but it´s not what i would call club music.

I missed him at Space last year but i´ll defo be catching him there this time around, just to see what he is going to be playing.

i think u would be a fool to miss space...it is one awesome club......U MUST GO TO SPACE :)...u wont regret it8)
 
I've never made it to Carl Cox because I've always been to Armada. I've had so much fun there that I've always wanted to go back and so I haven't ever given anything else a chance (on a Tuesday).

I did, however have a bad experience last year when Oakenfold was covering for Armin. So if Oakey is spinning, run away! He was terrible!!!

Armada is great because it never gets too packed, the crowd is down to earth and best of all it's cheap! The last two years it's been 25 euro and that includes a drink.

Again, I can't compare it to Carl Cox's night (which I'm sure is good), but I can vouch that you'll have a blast at Armada.

not as cheap as Coxy's night... if you get there before 10 it's free, I think only 15 euro after that!
 
Carl Cox hands down my friend, Im not a local to Ibiza every summer but I try get there every second year! Space is a truly awesome place! Do IT!

Carl Cox's night at Space is not to be missed. One of the best if not the best night on the island IMO. Armada is pretty good as well, but out of these two I would prefer Carl Cox ;). And besides as you are going to Cream already you will catch a excellent tarnce night at Amnesia anyways, so a brilliant night at Space would probably be the best way to go, considering your trip. That way you'll experience more of the goods the island has to offer in terms of clubbing. If you really, really want to see Armin you can always do both nights as said above. You would most likely enjoy Space so much that you would not want to leave in the end though :) 8).

Anyways, if you deside to go to Carl Cox, then make sure you'll be at the club before 11.00 as otherwise you will miss Carl's set at the terrace. Around 12.00 the action moves inside and at that point it's normally time for the guest dj to step in. Then later on Carl comes back to do his brilliant work with a considerably harder set than earlier on the terrace. A very good atmosphere through the night and lots of nice people.

I'm doing both! My mates went to Carl Cox's closing party last year. Said it was the best clubbing night they'd ever had. And they love their trance so it must have been something special. I rele wanna see Coxy and I also love my trance so I'll be going to Armada around midnight/1am. Let the good times roll.
