i made my booking for next summer 2007, what is the best website to rent a car in ibiza online and does the cars there have manual or autmatic transmission?

try opodo but you got pay up front there are owned by by British Airways, Air France, Alitalia, Iberia, KLM, Lufthansa, Aer Lingus, Austrian Airlines, Finnair and Amadeus
so doubt they wont go bust i hope

Both of these are discount rental brokers. They'll set you up with one of their "partner" rental agencies in Ibiza. I've used both and had great low rates (just 20-25 euros a day!) over the past 3 years.

The past 2 years, the local vendor ended up being Centauro and they are great. The rental counter is right in the airport and the cars in the airport garage. I think you can usually choose manual or automatic but the latter will cost you more.
