Car rental or public transport?

Hi everyone,

I was thinking about renting a car for the duration of my stay in Ibiza. While the prices are not that high, and can easily fit my budget, I do prefer to ask if it is worth it? I mean should you be ok with just public transportation? or is it impossible to get around? I am staying in San Ant.

It all depends how many hours you intend to stay below the limit and free of drugs (roadside controls pulling people over this year again - unless you already know the back roads and even then you can be easily caught out). If you can stay on the right side of both then rent a car 100% without a doubt as you will be able to access SO much more of the island :)

I should be fine regarding the limits as I'm not really into that, I can still party like hell though :)

But yeah, that was my main concern, if you can't count solely on Public transportation it's probably a good idea to rent one.
